September
Thurs, 14th - The Anchor Hotel, Burnham-on-Crouch

Would you believe it! I told you it would happen....forgot the bleeding camera again so no photo's here! Sigh, what are we like! Well, we have excuses....Roy has a stinking cold and voice going, bob wasn't so well either, and there's no excuse for Ian, Gary or myself! Typical.

We set up in okay time but still quite a small place to cram us all in, but when there's a will there's a way! Didn't do a sound check early enough which meant we had to adjust things on the first song, need more time next gig.

The first set got progressivly better, I messed up the words to 'run to you' but well....okay there's no excuses, I will have to learn it! We started at 9pm and finished first set at 9.50pm.

15-20 minute break after that. The pub was quite full which was nice. Some friends from the band came down too which made the night better for sure, including some friends from www.NuffSed.org which put the pressure on me a little as they are a great band (Roy is the guitarist if you didn't know!)

The second set went down much better, and the crowd got into it a bit more which was always nice. I didn't drink too much either which is shocking for me I know, just a pint and four shots, an improvement!! We finished playing at just gone 11pm and our job was done - just the packing up to do! doh! To think, we had our 'roadie-so-bad' (Mark Palmer) present in the crowd, but he was on 'holiday' so left us to pack everything up - the cheek!!! And to think I was going to promote him to be our official photographer!! hehe.

Another gig over, another booked so watch out anchor, we're coming back!
