Saturday 23rd - Secret location in the depths of romford/Gidea Park
Denise's birthday! Happy b'day to you!
Good gig as I always say now. Set up in good time - played under a geeza-bo! This was attached to the main marquee. Unfortunatly it rained somewhat and we were dodging water most of the evening.
Some helpful 'arry in the intermission thought it'd be a good idea to get rid of the collecting water on our side of the marquee. Didn't quite go to plan and I tried to help contain the water and sadly, it didn't work and water emptied all over me! Cheers!! lol. However, my T-shirt was dried in tumble dryer and I just had to do the last half of the gig freezing and with wet trousers socks and shoes. Lovely!
Some crowds need plying with alcohol to get them to respond or speak up, or remember how to co-ordinate their hands to clap at the end of songs, but by the end, they got into the swing of things hehehe, eventually! Another gig done, more to come...... (lots of piccies were taken that night, but as usual, I haven't been sent any to upload!)
