Sat 28th - Keene Hall
An interesting gig for sure. Keene hall has quite a nice room to have bands and such like functions. The room had a massive echo to it, but once filled with people the echo dulled and allowed a good overall sound.
We supported Nuff Sed on this occasion and what a great band they are. They set up their gear on stage first and we set up after around their equipment. Was a little cramped but enough room to stand and do our thing (apart from I had a cymbol in my ear!!)
The downside with supporting another band is you have to warm the crowd up and that can be in itself quite a task. We managed to get some people dancing by the end of it but not what we're used to - guess it was a bit early and people hadn't thrown tons of drink down their necks!
A good gig - had we remembered it was halloween we would have dressed up........but aside the costumes, a good gig, we did ourselves proud once again!
